About Root Bottom Farm

We never spray. We never will. We are dedicated to growing diverse, zero spray food by hand, with love and without chemicals. Root Bottom Farm grows high-quality, organic specialty crops including: microgreens, root crops, herbs, flowers, berries and vegetables. We also specialize in multiple garlic varieties and bulk seed garlic is available for sale. 2016 Farm to Table Dinners August 5. our 2nd annual Pedal to Plate event (bike to farm to table) is Sept 17. Root Bottom products can be enjoyed at the West Asheville Market every Tuesday from 3:30-6:30 on Haywood Rd, the Brevard Farmers market every Saturday from 9:00-1:00, our CSA and our popular Farm to Table Dinner events.

A CSA box from Root Bottom Farm is a great way for you to buy and eat local, seasonal and delicious produce directly from the farmer in your community. You receive a box of weekly veggies, greens and value added products. How long does it last? How much does it cost? Mid May - Mid October $500 for the season. Full payment is due by March 1st, 2016. What can I expect in my box? Produce and products vary each week. Boxes will include greens, microgreens, vegetables, root crops, berries and our value added products. Greens: Lettuce, microgreens, kale, Swiss chard, collards, arugula & spicy Asian greens Veggies: eggplant, tomatoes, scallions, peppers, cucumbers, peas, beans, broccoli, corn, summer & winter squash Root Crops: carrots, beets, potatoes, sweet potatoes, garlic, onions & sunchokes Other: strawberries, blackberries, basil, herbs, flowers, jam, pesto, garlic butter & love

We are not open to the public during regular business hours. We would love to see you out at the farm during one of our farm to table dinners this season! Our events this year are our Farm to Table dinner Aug 5 and Pedal to Plate Sept 17. The food is fresh, organic and locally grown just yards from your seat.
