About Meadow Cove Farm

Meadow Cove Farm grows a wide assortment of seasonal vegetables, berries, fruits, shiitake mushrooms and chestnuts using organic and biodynamic practices. We sell our produce at the YMCA Indoor Winter Farmers Market at the Crosspoint Community Church on Cumberland Avenue in Montford from January-March, as well as to individuals, restaurants and small grocers. We grow our produce year around in both the field and in unheated high tunnel greenhouses. We utilize captured rainwater to gravity feed irrigation water to our crops and use solar energy to power both our residence and farm. We welcome visitors to call and come visit our farm to buy the freshest possible produce and to see our production. We also offer short term rental accommodations in our "Sparrow's Nest Cottage" and our farm is available for hosting special events. An emphasis during 2017 will be the construction of eco-friendly structures, including cordwood and Earthship buildings. Individuals interested in learning about these construction techniques are welcome to join us and participate on work days. Please visit our website at and contact us for further information.
