Proudly serving local farm-sourced tropical fusion food for over a decade, Guadalupe Cafe is located in a cozy spot on Sylva's tiny Main Street in a charming 1920s drugstore decorated with local art work for sale. As a collaborative restaurant with a deep commitment to our local farming & artistic community, our menu is a creative blend of global food traditions prepared using all available local produce, fish, meats & cheese. Guadalupe has been featured in Gourmet magazine ("America's Best Farm-to-Table Restaurants" oct.'07) as well as numerous features, guides & superlatives such as the annual local "Best of the Xpress". As a part of our commitment to WNC, we donate at least 10% of profits annually to local organizations that work to address unmet needs in our community. Come join us for brunch on the weekends, or enjoy a pint of local beer on our patio with some of our famous Goat Curry; pair Tribal Grounds espresso or biodynamic Spanish wine with one of our house-made organic sweets, or fashion extravagant burritos & tacos (just hand-pick your favorite ingredients from our taqueria menu with choices like local pasture raised chicken & meats from Mountainside, Worley, Carolina Bison, Dark Cove, Cold Mountain & more, grilled local greens from Vegenui, Berry, dawson Green & more, Yellow Branch farm's pepper cheese, fried plantains, Dark Cove garlic & chive goat cheese, pepper-sautéed Gulf shrimp, High Mountain Meadow feta, local wild mushrooms, curried potatoes & plenty more). Although we specialize in locally sourced, organic, healthy food, we strive to have something for everyone: families, spicy food aficionados, the classic meat&3 crowd, vegans & vegetarians. Our relationships with dozens of small farmers, artisanal cheese-makers, brewers, coffee-roasters, artists, bakers & craftspeople in WNC are vital to our existence and 10+ years' success; it is both our mission & our passion to create delicious, wholesome food with only the best, freshest ingredients to be found. Please come by & thank you for supporting local food in the mountains!
