Proudly serving local farm-sourced food for over a decade, Guadalupe is located in a cozy spot on Sylva's tiny Main Street in a charming 1920s drugstore decorated with local art work for sale. As a collaborative restaurant with a deep commitment to our local farming & artistic community, our menu is a creative blend of global food traditions prepared using all available local produce, fish, meats & cheese. During the past year, we have expanded our operations to include a small market of locally made foods: Tribal Grounds Coffees, Yellow Branch farmstead cheese, Dark Cove goat cheese, Backwoods Bakery's sourdough breads & bagels, Sunburst trout Jerky, Armor Farm Eggs, Waynesville Soda Jerks, Buchi fermented drinks, local meats, local jams, local 6-packs & plenty more. Guadalupe has been featured in Gourmet magazine ("America's Best Farm-to-Table Restaurants" oct.'07) as well as numerous features, guides & superlatives such as the annual local "Best of the Xpress". As a part of our commitment to WNC, we commit to donating at least 10% of profits annually to non-profits, mostly local organizations that work to address unmet needs in our community.
Come join us for brunch on the weekends, enjoy a pint of local beer on the patio with our famous Goat Curry, peruse our organic, sustainable & biodynamic wine list, sample house-made organic sweets, or fashion extravagant burritos & tacos (just hand-pick your favorite ingredients from our taqueria menu with choices like local pasture-raised poultry & meats from Mountainside, Worley, Carolina Bison, Dark Cove & more, grilled local greens from Graceland, Dawson Green & more, Yellow Branch farm's pepper cheese, fried plantains, Dark Cove garlic & chive goat cheese, pepper-sautéed wild Gulf shrimp, High Mountain Meadow feta, local wild mushrooms, curried potatoes & plenty more). Although we specialize in locally sourced, organic, healthy food, we strive to have something for everyone: families, spicy food aficionados, the classic meat&3 crowd, paleo/low-carb/keto folks & vegans/vegetarians.
Our relationships with dozens of small farmers, artisanal cheese-makers, brewers, coffee-roasters, artists, bakers & craftspeople in WNC are vital to our existence and 10+ years' success; it is both our mission & our passion to create delicious, wholesome food with only the best, freshest ingredients to be found. Please come by & thank you for supporting local food in the mountains!
