About Chestnut Mountain Farm LLC

Chestnut Mountain Farm is a Forest Farming Enterprise specializing in growing high quality native pollinator plants for nursery stock as well as wild simulated medicinal herbs of the Appalachian region. At CMF we are committed to sustainable land management and farming practices using permaculture, organic, regenerative and biodynamic methods. We also provide landscaping, gardening, consulting and educational services that promote bee and pollinator friendly habitats. Gardens and landscapes created through us may obtain certification with Pollinator Partnership, the world’s largest nonprofit dedicated exclusively to the health of pollinating animals. In addition to our nursery stock of native plants and medicinal herbs, we grow selective fruits, nuts, vegetables, mushrooms, free range chicken and eggs, honey, cut flowers, seasonal greens, willow branches (rods) for basket weaving and other farm grown and crafted products.
