THE HENDERSTEAD

We are a veteran-owned/ operated farmstead located in the beautiful Appalachian hill country of Union Mills, NC. We are committed to ensuring that the food we produce nourishes not just the body but also our whole community. By embracing regenerative practices, we honor our animals and create a cycle of health and abundance to support our neighbors and strengthen our local economy. We proudly offer grass only Katahdin and Dorper sheep and lamb, forest raised pork, pastured table eggs and provide custom grazing services. We are always happy to provide farm tours and educational speaking engagements as well.
