About Durrant Farms Estate
Located in Leicester, NC, our family-owned alpaca farm offers unique farm experiences alongside a range of Appalachian Grown products. Founded in 2022 by Whitney and Tom Durrant, we raise alpacas and produce high-quality fiber goods, including yarns and finished items known for their warmth, softness, and durability. Guests can enjoy unique alpaca experiences and learn about ethical, sustainable farming practices. In addition to our fiber products, we host weddings, events, and environmental workshops that highlight connection to land and community. We also offer cozy overnight stays for those looking to fully experience the peaceful mountain setting. Our farm is dedicated to supporting local agriculture and sharing the value of Appalachian-grown and crafted goods.

Our Farm Offers:
We offer Brunch with the Alpacas, a unique experience in which we set up a picnic-style brunch in the pasture with our alpacas and llamas. Enjoy a locally produced brunch spread while our herd comes and offers their curiosities. We also provide treats to feed them!
