The Swain County Farmers Market home to the Smoky Mountain Railroad is located in Bryson City and meets every Friday morning from 9 am - 1 pm. We have an array of local vendors, including organic and sustainable growers of produce, nursery plants, herbs, trout, eggs and honey. In addition, we have several artisans including jewelry, quilts, pottery, gourds and more! The market will be open Friday mornings starting the 1st Friday in May until the last Friday in October.

The Market is located at the Old Nelli Wiggins Barn on Island St. located in downtown Bryson City. From the highway take exit 67 to the first stop light, then right onto Main St. At the first stop light turn left onto Everett St. Go across bridge and take the 1st right onto Island St. Drive until you see the Old Barn on the left.
Our market season is from May 7, 2021 to October 29, 2021.
